Wouldn't it be great...
to bring your newborn home and have an expert in infant care meet you at the door? Someone to help you get settled in, someone who knows what to suggest for sore body parts, who can offer breastfeeding support and knows who to call if extra help is needed. Someone who can comfort the baby so that you can shower, eat or rest. Someone who can help with your older children while you bond with your newest addition, or make you lunch while you feed the baby. I am there to provide unbiased support for your whole family.
My Background
As a Postpartum Doula, I am trained to help mom recover, support breast or bottle feeding, help you with swaddling, diapering and bathing. My goal is for you to feel confident and supported in those first few weeks. I live in Yardley, PA with my partner and our blended family. I have one son who is 13 and two bonus sons, 13 and 10. We love to camp, swim, play soccer, baseball and have been know to have competitive pickleball games in our driveway. We have a 16 year old cocker spaniel, Molly, who is the sweetest dog and still acts like a puppy.
Watching Families Grow
For as long as I can remember I’ve loved being around babies. As a young child, if there was a baby in the room, I was asking to hold it. I studied child development in college and became a nanny immediately after graduation. I continued on for 22 years until I trained to be a postpartum doula. For the last two years I have supported parents while they transitioned into their new roles and I’ve watched families grow. It has been some of the most rewarding work I’ve ever done. Being a postpartum doula is something that I am extremely passionate about. I can’t wait to support your family and meet your newest addition!
